This scenic Dhap Dam Hike begins at Sundarijal, a popular gateway to the Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park, where the sound of rushing waterfalls from Sundarijal Dam blends with birdsong. The trail climbs steadily through lush forests of pine and rhododendron, passing the charming Tamang village of Mulkharka, where terraced fields and traditional homes offer a glimpse into rural Nepali life. As you ascend further, the landscape opens to reveal the tranquil Dhap Dam, a hidden alpine reservoir surrounded by rolling hills.
