This incredible adventure blends the breathtaking trails of the Everest Base Camp Trek with the exhilarating climb to Lobuche Peak. Along the way, you’ll experience ever-changing landscapes from pine forests and glacial valleys to high alpine ridgelines. Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593ft)
You’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital, offers you a mix of history, culture, and energy. You can spend the day resting or exploring nearby city areas before beginning your trekking adventure.
Day 02Welcome Briefing and Gear Check (1,400m / 4,593ft)
Today includes a full briefing about the route, weather, altitude awareness, and safety procedures. Gear checks ensure you’re fully equipped for trekking and Lobuche Peak climbing in Nepal. You will stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03Fly to Lukla (2,800m / 9,186ft) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m / 8,563ft)
Take a breathtaking 35-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From there, begin your trek through traditional Sherpa villages and mani walls. Walk along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Phakding, a peaceful village nestled beside pine forests, take a rest, and spend your night at Phakding.
Day 04Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286ft)
Cross several suspension bridges and climb steadily through rhododendron and pine forests. Enter Sagarmatha National Park and continue your ascent to Namche Bazaar, the cultural and economic hub of the Khumbu. This Sherpa town is perfect for resting, shopping, and soaking in mountain life. Stay overnight at Namche.
Day 05Acclimatization Day in Namche (3,440m / 11,286ft)
To adapt to higher altitudes, take a light hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village. Enjoy panoramic views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. Visit the national park museum and take a rest and acclimatize yourself, and stay overnight at Namche.
Day 06Trek from Namche to Debuche (3,820m / 12,532ft)
Today’s trail winds through alpine forests with unforgettable views of Everest, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. Visit the sacred Tengboche Monastery (3867 m) before descending to the peaceful village of Debuche, surrounded by fir and birch trees.
Day 07Trek from Debuche to Dingboche (4,410m / 14,468ft)
Walk through alpine meadows and cross suspension bridges over glacial streams. Ama Dablam dominates the skyline as you approach the highland village of Dingboche. This village is known for its wide valleys and beautiful views. You stay overnight there, enjoying local food.
Day 08Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4,410m / 14,468ft)
Climb Nagarjun Hill (5,000 m) for spectacular views of Lhotse, Makalu, and Ama Dablam Peak. This acclimatization hike helps your body adjust while offering one of the most scenic spots in the region. Return to Dingboche to rest and hydrate.
Day 09Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m / 16,210ft)
Ascend gradually through windswept landscapes. Pass the Thukla Pass memorials dedicated to mountaineers. Reach Lobuche, a remote settlement nestled near the Khumbu Glacier, where the air gets colder and the peaks feel closer.
Day 10Trek to Gorakshep (5,164m / 16,942ft) and Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598ft)
Trek to Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After dropping your pack, hike to the iconic Everest Base Camp surrounded by glaciers and icefalls. Spend time celebrating and taking in the majesty, then return to Gorakshep for the night.
Day 11Hike to Kalapatthar (5,545m / 18,192ft) and Trek to Lobuche (4,940m / 16,210ft)
Begin early for the climb to Kalapatthar. Catch the sunrise illuminating Everest and neighboring peaks, one of the trek’s most unforgettable views. After photos and reflection, descend to Lobuche to prepare for the climbing segment ahead.
Day 12Trek to Lobuche Base Camp (4,950m / 16,240ft)
Leave the main trail and head towards Lobuche Base Camp. The route is steep and rocky, offering panoramic views as you climb. Upon arrival, settle in and organize your climbing gear with your Sherpa team.
Day 13Pre-Climb Training and Rest Day (4,950m / 16,240ft)
Use the day to rest and undergo technical training. Learn to use crampons, harnesses, ropes, and ice axes. This training is vital for a safe and successful Lobuche Peak climbing experience. Spent your night at base camp.
Day 14Summit Day – Lobuche Peak (6,119m / 20,075ft) and Trek to Pheriche (4,240m / 13,911ft)
This is the day when you create history. Start early for the summit push. Navigate fixed ropes and snowy ridges to reach the summit of Lobuche East. Enjoy breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, and Pumori. Descend carefully and trek to Pheriche to rest.
Day 15Contingency Day (4,240m / 13,911ft)
This buffer day is reserved in case of poor weather or other unforeseen delays. Spend the day recovering or exploring the quiet beauty of Pheriche.
Day 16Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286ft)
Retrace your steps along the Imja Khola, passing Pangboche and Tengboche Monastery once more. Continue downhill to reach Namche for a well-earned shower and warm meal.
Day 17Trek from Namche to Lukla (2,800m / 9,186ft)
Complete the final leg of your trek, descending through forests and villages to Lukla. Celebrate your adventure with your team.
Day 18Fly Back to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593ft)
Catch a scenic flight to Kathmandu. After checking into your hotel, spend the afternoon resting or exploring nearby temples and shops.
Day 19Leisure Day in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593ft)
Enjoy a relaxing day in the capital. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites or unwind with a spa treatment. Celebrate your journey with a traditional Nepali dinner.
