Alexander Lama

Alexander Lama is a passionate Himalayan trekking and climbing guide from Nepal, born near the sacred Mount Kailash. Since 2019, he has guided adventurers through Nepal’s iconic regions, including Everest Base Camp, Everest Three Passes, Annapurna, Langtang, and the remote Limi Valley. As a certified climbing guide, Alexander has successfully led expeditions on Mera Peak, Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, Tserko Peak, and Yala Peak.

 

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mountaineering Studies, he combines academic knowledge with hands-on expertise in high-altitude climbing, rock climbing, first aid, and rescue. Alexander is also an avid photographer, capturing the beauty of the Himalayas for his clients. Known for his honesty, friendliness, and personalized approach, he ensures each trek or climb is safe, memorable, and tailored to individual goals. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful trek or a thrilling summit, Alexander promises an unforgettable adventure through the heart of the Himalayas.

Education & Certification

Alexander holds formal qualifications from Nepal Mountain Academy (BMS), with expertise spanning from instructional rock climbing to advanced rescue techniques including RECCO-based avalanche response and self-rescue systems for crevasse falls. As a guide, he integrates these technical skills with client-centered leadership, ensuring safe and sustainable mountain experiences.

Beyond The Mountains

When I’m not guiding or climbing, I’m still chasing adventure in other ways: Playing chess, wall climbing, photography.
